Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Abrasifs Hi-Tech Inc ("Leafy", "we", "us"), 295 Montée de Liesse, Saint-Laurent, Québec H4T 1P5, Canada. By downloading or using Leafy VPN you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. What Leafy VPN is

Leafy VPN encrypts the connection between your device and a server you choose, then passes your traffic on to the internet. It hides your traffic from your network and your internet provider, and replaces your visible IP address with the server's.

It is not anonymity software. Websites can still identify you if you sign in to them, and a VPN does not protect you from malware, phishing or anything you choose to disclose yourself.

2. Your account

You may use Leafy as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Leafy VPN is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store.

Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your region. The price shown in the app at the moment of purchase is the price you pay.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Renewal is automatic unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling is done in your Apple ID settings, not in the app. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms. We do not process them.

If a renewal payment fails, access may end and the VPN account behind it may be released. If the payment later succeeds, a new VPN account is created for you automatically.

We may change prices. Changes never affect a period you have already paid for, and you will be told before a new price applies.

4. Device limits

Each plan covers a set number of devices, shown above. Registering more than your plan allows will be refused until you remove a device in Settings → My devices.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Leafy VPN to:

• Break any law that applies to you
• Send spam, or attack, scan or disrupt other systems
• Distribute malware
• Infringe copyright or other intellectual property
• Transmit material involving the abuse or exploitation of children
• Harass, threaten or impersonate others
• Resell or redistribute the service
• Attempt to circumvent device limits or interfere with the app or our systems

We do not monitor your traffic and cannot see what you do. If we receive a credible report of serious abuse, we may suspend or terminate your account.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will always be available or that every server will always work. Servers may be added, removed or changed. Speeds depend on your own connection, your distance from the server and conditions outside our control.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Leafy VPN at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we end it for our own reasons, we will refund any unused portion where the law requires it.

10. Apple

These terms are between you and Leafy, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and for anything significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Leafy VPN after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Québec, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim closer to home.
